TOPICS:
PSYCHOLOGY (learn about the «languishing» phenomenon that went viral and even prompted Prince Harry to talk about it)
LEADERSHIP (meet one of the most important inspirational speakers and talk about the «why» of life, honest feedback, terrible leaders and if change is really worth it)
SCIENCE (talk about memory and how to make people remember more and try out the proverbial Leontiev’s experiment)
LINGUISTICS (learn the difference between bow-wow, ding-dong and pooh-pooh theories, discuss onomatopes and phonesthemes, and how words are coined through backformation)

Как проходят занятия
We listen to one podcast per week, do a pre-task and come to the meetings to discuss the content.
The time in the session is maximized for speaking, but you can expect thorough work with at least 10 vocabulary items per lesson and several audio tasks. In the session we talk about the issue raised in a podcast from many different angles, which means that hopefully you’ll be talking all the time.
There are additional materials aka post-tasks (only if you opt for: Встречи+) both for the sake of vocabulary revision and additional discussions with your study-buddies.
IMPORTANT!
The sessions are not recorded for the sake of privacy as we’ll be discussing sensitive subjects like health, mental state and social issues.
